I began my journey into agency life with the belief that creativity is the ultimate form of individual expression.

My initiation came at W+K within "The Kennedys," a creative incubator designed to test one's mettle. Here, I sharpened my intellect against the challenges posed by brands like Old Spice, Samsung, Corona, and HP. Under the tutelage of Jarrod Higgins, Jim Riswold, Christen & Bertie,  and Freddie Powell, among others—I learned to discern not merely what is good, but what is exceptional. I reshaped my understanding of creativity, delving into ventures as daring as producing a 360 VR music video and crafting sonic branding for a haiku-driven messaging app, Haikumi.

From there, I ventured into freelance work, aiming to find not just employment, but a sense of purpose.

This led me to Indigena, a Native-led boutique agency. Here, I further explored copywriting and sound design, wielding my craft in service of a higher mission. Together, we built a website to galvanize support for the documentary Lakota Nation vs. The United States, a call for justice in the Black Hills of South Dakota. We recorded podcast episodes with our aim set to inform and inspire.

Music, a lifelong pursuit, called next.

I took a hiatus to re-immerse myself in the craft, collaborating with industry titan Lee Popa—a man whose resume reads like a testament to the power of sound. Through his mentorship, I gained an intimate understanding of the alchemy behind mixing and producing music, as well as insights into the audacious launch of his record label in Japan. This partnership, born of serendipity and nurtured by shared dedication, was again, an education in the uncompromising pursuit of excellence.

The entrepreneurial drive guided me to my next venture.

Partnering with kindred spirits, I co-founded an agency that would breathe life into a craft cocktail lounge, steakhouse, and speakeasy in Twin Falls, ID. From selecting the chef to curating the menu, from designing neon signage to documenting our journey through a docuseries, this enterprise was a symphony of vision and execution. It demanded not only creativity but the resilience to see ideas through to their fullest expression.

Each chapter has been defined by successes and challenges, all contributing to growth.

They have instilled in me the importance of collaboration, teamwork, and an unyielding belief in the power to shape the world through creativity. As I look to the future, I carry forward a wealth of experience in creative direction, brand, and sonic innovation—skills honed through varied and rigorous pursuits. I remain guided by the principle that our work embodies our highest ideals.
